Has anyone done a track event with older than 55k mi pentosin?

I am going to do 2 two hour track events next week, Road Atl and Charlotte MS. My DCT is at 55k on the original pentosin and wondering if anyone has gone further than 55k at a track event on the original pentosin? I took the car from Charlotte to Orlando last weekend and now the trans is a tad slower to go into gear and will more "thump" into gear. Thinking it is even more imperative to change the fluid.

Has anyone done a track event with older than 55k mi pentosin?

Also has anyone changed the fluid without changing the filter?

You've got a week which is plenty time to tackle the DCT service. Do it before and do it right.

https://www.ecstuning.com/b-genuine-...81078428402kt/ ISTA is involved in the process so make sure to have that or take it somewhere capable.

Yeah, in the middle of ISTA DL now. I can do it easily but not spending $700! Just wondering if the fluid is the only thing necessary. Filters and cover are probably not imperative at this point. That fluid is $$$. If you can't tell, I'm a cheap MF which is why I do things on my own.

It's recommended to change the pan?

Not absolutely necessary for street use up to 100k from what shops/teams tell me, but if you track it and get it hot fairly often I would at 50k.

Ive been looking into having mine swapped (73k miles, 20~ track events). I asked my shop if the pan was needed. He said if you want to ensure there will be no leak to replace the pan. Is plastic and prone to leaks if reused.

Im sure you COULD use the pan and most likely be safe. For a few bucks more id rather have the peace of mind.

I replaced the DCT fluid, pan, both filters and had the fluid tested by Blackstone. Fluid had a little over 70k miles and several track days. Analysis showed the fluid still had plenty of life.

Waiting on my bottle. I have one on the engine and diff. I am hoping for good news on all of it. I did two one hour stints at road atl and charlotte ms this week. Possibly going to Carolina Motorsports Park next w/e. I feel better now, thanks!
