F82 Window Woes

What is everyone putting on their windows to stop the dreadful streaks every time you touch the window switch? Seems like there is just nasty crud lying below the weatherstrip and the window dips itself into it every single time!

I detail my M4 every week and every time I roll down the window, it streaks like crazy. I already tried ceramic coating and rain x with no resolve. I still have to carry a microfiber towel and clean the windows daily.
Aside from trading it for a 4 door version, has anyone found a solution?

Also, I really hope that having frameless windows doesn't creates window regulator issued down the road like with the NSX. It was notorious for this issue once aged and was extremely expensive and time consuming to correct without having air leaks.

This drives me crazy. The only solution I have found is to let the inside of the door dry for a day or two before rolling the window down. If I do that, I don't get that smearing nonsense.

That's usually what I do. It really sucks.

Kinda drives me nuts as well. I keep a microfiber in my glovebox just to manage the streaks.

I live in a hot climate, so maybe I am coming from an unfair place, but when I finish washing my car I use the leaf blower (electric) to help dry the car, then just leave it sealed up for about 2 hours and voila. I believe the 220 mph winds help knock the water down and away enough to only need a bit of drying time.

If you don't use some form of this forced air for drying, I recommend it. Helps keep the hard to reach places from getting buildup.
