Knocking noise at low speed

Hi guys, I just bought 2016 m4 a week ago and heard it from the first day of purchase
It does that noise when I start to accelerate from a stop or from a cruise or when I change from R to D and accelerate a little
It happens only on low speed
Car has on 17k miles
I have the same noise as this guy on video
Please help to figure out what the problem is
Thank you

HAHA.

We could use some more info.

Clearly the car is a DCT?
Any mods to the car?
Where approx does the sound come from? Right next to you? At the back of the car? In the front of the car? Can you conntact the seller for more info?

FWIW, these cars make some crazy noises stock. Lots of driveline noise and the DCT can be clunky when driven softly (low speeds, reverse to forward). I find my DCT get confused ebry now and again when making a Cali stop, or getting the green light right as I am about to stop.

To me, from the little info and the vid, it sounds like the tranny engaging or the diff engaging. I have a Turner plate and poly bushings in my F80 and I can here the gears engage all the time as I come off anf on the power. Especially when driving easy around town. Mine is exageratted because of the plate, but keep in mind that noise is still there in other cars, its just being muted by the stock tofu soft bushings.

Anyway, I do hope it is just driveline noise and not something else.

good luck,
josh

More of a clunk (bushing) than a knock (engine). Check diff and trans bushings good…?

Also on a second day after purchase I went to do some donuts after 30 minutes on canyons the error comes out "chassis function limited, driving possible carefully"
I turned off the car and turned on, and it's disappeared and never came back
