It looks like the F83 uses pretty much the regular sports seats of the 4 series convertible, while the F80 and F82 got dedicated lightweight sports seats (without thigh extender).

Best regards,
south
If that is the case you would think the F83 would need to save as much weight as possible and use the same lightweight seats as the F80/F82

I love it, but the dead on side people shot makes the too look awkward. Profile looks better on the E93 (top only) everything else is killer on this F83.

I would assume that the necessary integration of the seatbelt into the seat prevented them from using the same seats.

Best regards,
south

I like it! I am glad they finally have shadow trim for the F83, I had to wrap mine.

This thing is just for posing down Rodeo Drive, nobody in their right mind is buying a convertible for any type of serious driving so the owners won't mind a few extra pounds.

i think i finally understand now why i don't like the profile view of the 4-series. the slope behind the hofmeister kink just looks so bad. the flat trunk and the way the top comes right down looks way better. i would definitely get the convertible this time.

looks great! the trunk though leaves something to be desired. it looks like its missing something and the shape creates an odd finish. with a performance spoiler it would finish it off nicely.

Ok I'm sold.

In the spy shots, I couldn't stand the convertible hardtop on this, it looked off. In these official pics and no camo, it looks downright mean and adds to the car's stance.

Looks great with the top down, especially that rear view.

I do miss having a convertible.

Need bigger garage.

that looks great I think that would be the coupe of my choice under 90K, in terms of features and looks. Hard cover drop top in a dark color looks great.

Does anyone ever black out the top of those hard cover drop tops? might give it a better look?

I think this is it...I said I wouldn't do it...but...I may have to trade in my F10 M5 for this one.

That dark grey with black wheels looks SICK!
