High pitched noise when windows are down?

Anyone have this in their car?

When I drive w/ my windows down I get this random high pitched squeak.

I don't know if it's air entering the cabin or if it's something in the back moving around...

I heard the emblems on the seats make high pitched sounds. Did u look into that?

Its either that or the poltergeist thats sitting in your back seat trying to get your attention.

You say 'random' squeak. Is it really random or is it repetitious at some frequency? Does the frequency change? If it does, is the change related to ground speed or engine speed? In the meantime tap the dust shield behind a rear rotor with a thin screwdriver or similar, see if the sound seems familiar.

Does it depend on your speed?

For me, I noticed some high pitched noise with the window down just after I switched the mirror caps to the carbon fiber ones.

It seems that the noise in my case is coming from the right tip of the mirror (where the cut out is). If I put my hand there or if I squeeze the whole assembly together, the noise seems to fade.

If it's really random, then it's definitely not what I have

yes the noise on my M4 is from the drivers side mirror when the window is down. blocking the small air channel between window and mirror stops the noise. they made it aerodynamic without making it aerodynamic.

How do you fix that anyways? I got carbon fiber mirror caps and it's making this high pitch noise.
