295 tires on 10 inch wheel?

Hi All - I've run A052s on previous track cars and know they run wide but have extra 18x10 wheels from my E92 that I plan to use this weekend as my new wheels won't arrive until next week... I want to run 295s long term at the track but I'm unsure if they'll fit well on 10 inch wheels.

Anyone have experience running 295s (or specifically 295/35/18) on 10 inch wheels? Any degradation in performance due to the oversized tire on the thinner wheel?

I can't recall any good track tire (100-200trw) options in 285/35/18 which would be ideal for these.

Thanks!

Can it be run? Yes. Is it optimal? No.

295 is just too wide on a 10" wheel. 10.5 and 11 is the width you want for a 295 tire.
