GTS KW Spring Replacement Options
Has anybody swapped/replaced the OE KW springs to Swift or Eibach? Curious if it's possible to swap to a shorter/stiffer front spring to clear wide wheels/tires and avoid running spacers.

You definitely can but I don't know how much stiffer you can go before you run into valving issues with the damper.
Also, if you go too short you'll start to run into other problems, like reduction of wheel travel, and may end up going slower. If you're going that route you may as well go to an MCS/JRZ/Ohlins set up that's designed to work with higher rates. |

Anybody have the measurements of their OE KW springs? I got 8" front and 8" rear w/helper. I believe they're both 60mm OD. Spring rates are 400lb and 685lbs respectively.

Rear main spring 8.5" plus the helper spring which I plan to retain but will likely swap out the KW height adjuster for the Ground Control weight jacks, I'm waiting on a response from GC on the height difference of the WJ and whether I'll need to shorten the spring to compensate. |
