BM3 support for Nostrum Stage 1&2 DI

I updated the BM3 app on my iPhone and saw they added plug-and-play support for Nostrum's Stage 1 and 2 Direct Injectors.

I pinged Halim to ask if this gets us support for M5 injectors but he said they still require a custom tune.

Nothing new there. I still see only OEM, Spool, Nostrum and Original.

BTW the Original HPFP setting is for Custom E85 tunes since they aren't built up from the OEM settings.

Huh? So the original setting on the BM3 maps is for E85? Why didn't they just call it E85? I run original pump and normal fuel so should I select oem rather than original?

Noooo. Picking Original with an OTS map does not enable E85. OTS maps use the OEM setting for stock HPFPs.

The Original HPFP setting is for a Custom Tuner to use when they write a custom E85 map. If you get a Custom E85 tune (by F80Paul, for example) and leave HPFP set to OEM then you run short on fuel pressure (engine sputters over 4K RPM).

Ah that's makes sense. So leaving it on original or oem on the OTS stage 2 93 octane map will be the same thing as both setup for stock fuel pump. Phew - I think I selected original as far as I'm aware it's the original factory pump in the car! :

Paul told me the Original is only for his Custom E85 maps since the fuel tables are built from scratch.

I mean do you only need to upgrade injectors if you run upgraded turbos?

You can run upgraded turbos on standard EU6 injectors for gasoline tunes. I'm going to run an E85 kill tune with upgraded turbos, so I need the upgraded EU5 injectors to get past 650WHP.
