OEM GT4 splitter is 7k. A quality aftermarket version is 5.7k
The BW splitter and swan neck wing represent great value when looked at from a performance and quality perspective. These parts are motorsport-grade items built by firms specializing in true motorsport parts. They are not mass-produced Chinese parts with a layer of carbon, lots of filler and clearcoat. Additionally, they utilize mounting points that are the same as the GT4 motorsport parts.

With anything motorsport - you get what you pay for.

I'm just comparing their E36, E46, and E92 splitter options that at $1750 and the billet mounting kit $250. For someone, it may be worth the call. There is also a post on the E92 side discussing pricing...

During an airport connection I stumbled on this M4 exhibit and was struck by its massive aero. This is impractical but very impressive in person.

I don't follow racing but I think it's some DTM GT3 car.

DTM is incredible. What's impractical?

Has anyone tried or heard of the Aeroflow front splitter (https://www.aeroflowdynamics.com/pro...f80x-f82x-v1)? It does not look good but seems to be functional?

Same. I was just thinking that I'd be way more inclined to buy a quality functional splitter if I could throw it in the back seats with my tires and quickly strap it on in the paddock. Maybe the process is easy after the initial installation.

The GTmore would probably need its own trailer but Slon or GT4 ones might fit within the car.

My understanding is the GT4 front splitter is a rather complicated installation and probably not something you can just bolt-off and bolt-on at the track.

Hi, since I've been tracking more than I thought I would, probably like once a month or once every 2 months. I was thinking of adding proper aero to a the car. I was thinking of the getting a custom swan neck and a gt4 lip ( not BMW Gt4 ). Here are some photos, I would like y'all input on this. Thanks!

That's the one I have from MK, seems to fit well. Not sure how much downforce it makes, but it was easy to pull off air for brake cooling.

It's very rigid and high quality.

I have the same MK Motorsport front splitter from Germany.
Can you share some picture how you ran the brake ducting?

Here is short vid

https://youtube.com/shorts/VhbQroukJeI?feature=share

This passenger one was a little ratty so is replaced it before my last event.

Also you want to put it something to block/direct the air to the center and not the rotor face like this.

A newer addition to the adjustable front splitter options on the market - saw that guy Blake on youtube make it work with his CS style lip

Of all the ones on the market, it is the one I like the most, it even seems more accomplished than the GTS one.

Hi Shadow,
Did you ever install your GT4 lip from the picture that you posted? Was it very difficult to install? Would you mind letting me know where you got it, as I'm currently looking for one.

It's in my basement still, I did not install it.

The GT4 splitter produces so much downforce it will slam the GTS with stock suspension onto the ground/bumpstops, so it doesn't work with stock suspension.
GTS1 and GTS2 stayed stock for the 2022 season, so it was impossible to install the GT4 splitter. For 2023, one of both will receive GTMore suspension and then aero will be possible.

The install is somewhat involved, as you have to cut the stock bumper in a few places.

This is the Slon Workshop splitter. Forum member daveishi also got the Slon one and is installing it shortly.
Note that the Slon part is not a low cost replica, it is an improvement over the OEM GT4 splitter.

Yep, just finished modifying the radiator supports to clear the ducts, next up is trimming the bumper and getting it all mounted up, cables are already installed. I'll post pics here once complete:
