Annual Track Insurance

Anyone have any experience with annual track insurance policies? So far I see them offered by OpenTrack and OnTrack. I can easily see myself doing 10+ events next season so it might end up being worth it. For context, I have a quote from OpenTrack for $4k and currently I pay $425 +- $25 for single events. Would love to hear thoughts!

I get the 6 pack to start with Ontrackinsurance that gives a 15% discount if I remember correctly.

I need to do more than ten events for the annual policy to break even. To save a single dollar, I need to do eleven or more events.

Do the math and don't forget the risk of prepaying an insurance for a year where all kinds of things can happen that don't let you do 10+ events...

Yeah that's kind of what I was thinking of as an alternative. I've got 2 certain and 1 other possible event(s) coming up in the next 1.5 months, so I think I'll give OnTrack a try. Been using OpenTrack historically.

I signed a one year policy with opentrack last month, decided it was time to push harder.
I have been driving about 30 days a year on the track, almost always without insurance.

The liability for track damage looked appealing considering COTA will charge you out the ass for repairs.

While I'm waiting to be able to get insured with ontrack again, I opened an annual policy with Open Track. Saves me a ton of money - I'm over 1k per track day for insurance. Annual is like 6k unlimited.
