AA vs Fabspeed Midpipe with MPE

For clarification Our Mid pipe will only mate up to our axle back system in this link ,stock rear and most rear aftermarket exhaust systems.


If you are looking at our newest signature 3.5 inch single pipe exhaust it will have to be purchased as a full replacement and our AA mid pipe will not work with this system.

I definitely agree the MPE/ZCP setup has some rasp to it.

Both the AA pipe and the Fabspeed gets rid of most of the rasp from the MPE. After installing the AA mid to my MPE, at first I wasn't too impressed with the sound, as time went on I noticed it sounded awesome in the higher revs. I went through the PCH/Santa Monica tunnel and it sounded pretty amazing. Almost exotic sounding.

The AA gives the MPE a more deeper tone, the Fabspeed gives it a little higher pitch, both will eliminate the rasp. Both sound really good.

If modifications to your MPE is not your thing, I would recommend the Fabspeed for the MPE since it's direct bolt on, no cutting. The downside to the Fabspeed is the fitment, it will require you to bend a heatshield to clear. The AA mid is a perfect fit but keep in mind it will push the whole system out, so your MPE tips will extend way beyond your bumper. Great if you're into that Need for Speed look.
