What’s up everyone, looking for some advice. I just picked up a Mishimoto intercooler (got it on sale), along with the charge pipe and catch can. I’m debating whether I should powder coat or paint the intercooler Shakir Orange. The only issue is that the charge pipe and catch can are slightly different shades, and I really don’t want to end up with three different shades of orange. Any recommendations or experiences with powder coating vs paint would be appreciated.

I would just go black intercooler instead of trying to match the color

I had purchased a blue and silver intercooler, couldn’t decide. Well, I went silverstone, and got a silverstone oil catch can. Just installed it along with a new (for me) eventuri engine cover. I’m really loving it. The silverstone with he Goldenwrench blue caps looks real good. I think I’m done in the engine bay, although I’m doing a downstar dress up kit too. Just so many damn bolts.

Forgive my stupidity but what is routed between your chargepipes?

You know what? I think it’s a wiring harness that comes from the positive terminal, but I’m not positive. I should probably move that! Now it’s really bugging me.

I bought mine regular price before Christmas on Amazon for full price and I can return it. I unfortunately missed this deal. Do you guys recommend returning mine and waiting for a future sale? My current TMIC is fine. No leaks atm. *knocks on wood*

I wouldn't. This sale was likely them purging inventory. I too missed the sale and ended up trying to buy one of the colored ones they supposedly still had for like $800 or so. A few days later I got an email saying it was backordered, and a couple days after that they cancelled the order saying the item was discontinued. These cars are aging and they aren't going to be making new parts for it, at least not the paint-matched ones. I doubt we'll see a sale like this again anytime soon or probably at all.

If you look on Facebook marketplace there’s people trying to resell them
For roughly double what they paid but still half the msrp…kinda weird but still cheaper if you’re Southern California based and lookin’

I already checked Facebook marketplace in my area but didn't see any. I'll check out some of the nearby cities. I have until the 31st thanks the daddy Bezo's return policy.
