And yes, the gesture is the same as every laptop with a trackpad, swipe from left to right on the trackpad to go back (the gesture does work with a finger swipe on the screen).

Another issue I found on my iPad is that the app doesn’t seem to fully support the apple keyboard. I can of course use it to type and use the track pad to move around but the app seems to not allow me to use the track pad to select and highlight text. It also doesn’t allow me to just hold the delete key down to delete larger portions of text. I have to continually tap the delete key and go letter by letter.

Thanks for the report guys. I’m keeping records of all this, but it will take some time. I’ve gotta buy a keyboard

Ok I just submitted a new update with fixes for the smilies on iPad and potentially fix the YouTube issue. Let me know 😀

Fixed the smiley issue on iPad, but unfortunately brought back the PW/Login issue on my iPhone. Was logged out after the update, and can’t log back in. 🤦🏻&zwj;♂️

I’m right now playing with the login to fix it for 10” guy.
You might have caught it while I was making changes.
It should work for you if you try now

I force quit the app the tried again and I was able to log in. Crisis averted.

I notice that when I post a YouTube video that the new app just posts a link instead of inbedding the video like it does on the desktop version or the old app. Can this be fixed?

PS - it doesn't always do this but it does sometimes do it.

It happened in this post, but I went to my laptop after and edited the post so the video would be inbedded.

The auto play of embedded YouTube videos has been fixed. I can also confirm that the smiley icon is now visible on the iPad. Thanks for the quick fixes!

Oops, meant EMbedded. lol

I just tried another YouTube video and it just posted the link again. Not sure what you mean by auto play.

He means that when scrolling a thread, YouTube videos would play without any user input. I had the same issue. Seems to have been fixed with the latest update though.

Immediately after posting, I see an appreciate like number that is above zero. If I refresh the page it goes to zero…crushing my spirits. 😂

Haha I know what you mean. Yes this is a more long standing bug that I can’t seem to crack yet, but will keep plugging away at it. No eta on a fix for it yet

Thanks for being responsive and working to smash these bugs. So far I like the improvements in the the app, functionally and aesthetically. Different doesn’t always mean good, but you’ve done well here.

Thanks for the support man. There are a slew of design changes also on the table, all of them good IMO, but they remain on the table for now. First gotta to keep smashing those bugs
