No, so the 3.5" or 4" is referring to the outside diameter of the tip itself...the part you see. Most sights I see have this in mm as well. So often you will see 95mm or 98mm (3.75") or 102mm to 104mm for 4"

If getting a non standard BMW part, you need to ensure the connection size to the exhaust, believe the F8x is 70mm opening on the connection end.

For myself, I initially went with Aktive Autowerkes 90mm tips, but really couldn't see them and the matte black didn't fit in. So I adjusted to Mode's 104mm tips (which seem to be constantly backordered). I know - blue burnt tips aren't for everyone...probably would rather have obtained gloss black with gold/silver on the inner section.

I have a g83 (convertible)

I was looking at these:

https://monacoms.com/bmw-m2-m3-m4-g8...o-motorsports/

Black gloss and carbon

I think should be a direct fit

Thanks

According to what is listed on their site - these do not fit.

They are for the G series, looks like their inlet size is 80mm, which the F8X is 70mm. Unless I'm reading something wrong...

Does anyone know the maximum exterior diameter or circumference that the tips can be? I have a 2019 M4 Competition. I ordered M performance CF style tips with a 70MM inlet, which slide on fine, but they are too large on the exterior width such that they cannot fit side by side. None of the places I have found that sell the M performance style CF tips list an exterior dimension when ordering.

Can you provide the link for those burnt titanium and gold tips?

I like the crude look of Arm motorsports brushed tips. They seem less "preppy" and more motorsport looking IMO .

Im not seeing the 4" (104mm) on their site anymore...only the 3.5" (89mm). Sure as stated, they are backordered.

Bought from this seller a few times:

4” tips : https://ebay.us/m/rdosJI

The inlet is 63 mm which matches my AWE muffler.

Right on. I ended up ordering from AliXpress. Fingers crossed they look good.
