Can't access Bimmerpost through internet

Having issues accessing this forum as well. From my desktop it doesn’t work at all anymore, also not when connected via VPN, public or private. It works from my mobile, which is on the same (home) network. But sometimes when I’m on mobile data, it does not. From a virtual machine connected to a public VPN it works. I don’t know what was implemented, but it’s quite a mess…

Same issue here.

I have not been able to access bimmerpost for a few weeks now, I just assumed the site is down or closed. I kept trying from time to time with no luck, until today when I forgot my work-provided VPN on and it worked. After deactivating the VPN it stopped working again. I can access it just fine through my VPN connection, but not through my home network.

Same issue here in UK. Not connecting with WiFi after messing with settings of my router not knowing what I was really doing. Using 4g mobile to access on phone . Pmd you Apptest. Cheers

Interesting the people are having trouble connecting with no VPN, but when I use my VPN it gives me issues.

For a while I’d get locked out on USA Sundays without fail from home address ( overseas user ) . It would take 12 hrs to three days before the “connection refused” would clear. Suspect possibly load related and credential check timing out. Got hit by cloud flare blacklist also which I find amusing , looks like it can be overly sensitive if it’s not tuned.

But there is also a couple of ip address reputation tracing services that frankly should get off the internet which feed some of the protection providers which could be contributing to cloudflares blocking of legit users.

Looks like everyone in my suburb has a score of 58 out of 100 including my own ip ( that’s not my ip btw ) . These company’s are giving low scores to entire ISP address ranges and then on selling services to major cyber protection suppliers.

Meanwhile looks like Nigeria IPs is a great and safe place from a reputation pov

Access halted again 2 days ago. Starlink update installed an hour ago restored access. Third time this has occurred.

Access inhibited again, but can still get through using VPN connection. Fixing things that aren't broken usually breaks them.

i got blocked from my isp, ting north carolina. just appears ping http/https are blocked at a protocol level. not sure the solution to autoban ips or the reasons but fairly confident my ip isn’t compromised, but if you have examples i will investigate my logs.

Constant problems with the forums not being accessed... its been happening for quite a while. Can't access it via my computer, my phone (wifi and data) and different browser and VPN. It's on and off. Some days it works and some days it just doesn't load.

I am guessing it's server side?

I do believe this problem is on Bimmerpost servers. I have been experiencing this loss of ability to connect on all apple and iPhone devices. At first I thought it may be because Apple devices hide your real IP but yesterday there was server outage for 30-40 minutes where I believe they addressed this problem. Since last evening there has been no or minimal issue - lets see if this continues to work.

For about 3 months I have not been able to access bimmerpost without a VPN, both in my home and at work. Can't see why this is happening. Sometimes UltraSurf works for me (like today) and sometimes I'm not able to connect. I'm located in Brazil.

having an issue that may be related. i can browse on my phone using a browser but not the app? app loads nothing (as if im offline). using an iphone and latest app. tried deleting and reinstalling but no luck.

edit-an update it works fine on my
home wifi oddly enough. cellular in two different locations (home and work) not working via t-mobile.

Same problem here. I just sent a PM to. apptest I started my own thread on this, until somebody just now directed me to here.

I can only access Bimmerpost Using my mobile phone data plan. In the same instant when I switch on the Wi-Fi, I cannot access this website anymore. I can’t access this website on two of my laptopss either on Wi-Fi, but I can access everything else on the Internet with those laptops.

Thank you for any assistance. This happened before about a year ago. But then I was able to access the site with VPN. This time I can’t even do that. I am only able to write this from my mobile phone without Wi-Fi turned on.

I sent you a couple of PMs with my WiFi’s local IP address (was on photo), and my ipv4 public IP address (TMobile Home Internet) as showing in “WhatismyIP.com”

Although, when I use a VPN, I have still the same access problem with my Wi-Fi.

Desktop problems over the past few days. Safari won't work, Chrome is ok. Same if Wi-Fi is on or off. Works fine on my iPhone using Safari.
