I had a 2015 F82 M4 6MT, delivered on Nov,22, 2014 and traded in for a new 2022 G82, delivered on Aug. 9, 2022.


The F82 was Sakhir Orange with Sakhir Orange full leather interior and the moonroof. From the data I entered on my car, it came up as the only one with this build in North America (US and Canada).


I think my current G82 is very unique as well. It is Isle of Man Green, with Tartufo full leather interior, Moonroof, no Shadowline Trim option, and 6-speed manual. I've had 3-years tomorrow, and 19,000 miles, and still loving it even more than the day i bought it.

Thank you SO much for this. I’ve been after this data for years. Turns out I have the only F82 in NA with my spec of LCI, SO on SO with 6MT, Bi-LED headlights and CF roof.

dar2008, many thanks for posting this detailed chart.

I noticed that approximately 8% of the cars were ordered in Yas Marina Blue which is one of my all-time favorite colors. This raises the question as to why this popular color was totally discontinued. I wonder why it wasn't even offered with a surcharge as an Individual color???

Just look at manual take rate PreLCI vs PostLCI, significant drop!

But I also wonder if more & more Automatic rather than Manual cars are being ordered by dealerships to stock on their lots, so many buyers who are on the fence DCT vs MT are kind of pushed to buy DCT as it’s readily available vs waiting to buy MT. I know some hardcore MT folks choosing DCT just because they didn’t want to wait for MT & picked up a DCT from the lot with a discount, then telling themselves & others that DCT is faster than MT..
Seems like manufacturers & dealers are orchestrating the demise of MT.., younger generation folks also don’t care much about MT either plus the shift toward hybridization/EV..
Getting difficult to save the Manual!
