I am very interested in getting a GTS, but prices seem to be all over the place. Will be interested to see what this brings in today.

I am registered to bid, but really not interested as I would like to have had a PPI done and really prefer white.

100 miles in six years - how sad. That thing is going to leak like a sieve once you start putting miles on it. Every seal will be dry and brittle.

markw10702 do you have experience with this, as two Master mechanics told me the opposite on the M4?

It was bid to $100,000 and not sold. Seems to be a fair price for a new GTS.

No idea what a master mechanic is (do you take a test or something?) but any car that sits for six years with only 100 miles put on it is going to have leaks. Seals dry up and shrink.

Master mechanic might be the wrong term, but they both left top bmw dealerships and have opened up independent shops.
I welcome facts to prove your concerns on the new engines from BMW.

It's a simple concept. Any car that sits for years without coolant/oil/etc circulating will start to dry the seals out.

If it's been in climate controlled storage, it's less of a problem, but rubber does not like to sit still/not be used.

I'm sure a car like that with tat low mileage was possibly in a somewhat controlled storage environment. Looks like the asking price is 120k

Screenshots of Owner Racing His G82 CSL Against His F82 GTS

The things I keep…
There is a semi recent YouTube video where an owner of a G82 CSL tested his car against a F82 GTS. I thought the performance info was interesting so I saved the screenshots. About the GTS, I seem to remember it dyno’d more than its published figure. I found it! Sport Auto dyno’d the GTS at 533 PS, so perhaps 525 horse? Whatever it is, the GTS is about equal in speed to a new CSL. Anyways, enough blabbering…
