Car Show - Newport, RI

Hey All!

I know this is a bit last minute, but I figured I would put this out in case there is some interest (and it would be great to see more of the local BMW enthusiast crowd). On Sat, July 9th, Naval Station Newport (the Navy base in Newport, RI) will hold it’s annual car show from 7:30 am to 1 pm. This event is open to anyone (you do not need to be a military member or DoD affiliated), but you must register to attend, whether you want to bring a car or not. This is not just a typical 2 hour Cars & Coffee. There will be food, an announcer/MC, and prizes awarded for different categories. The link below has more info about the event:

The weather is supposed to be great this Saturday and should be a good time for all car enthusiasts. This is not a BMW specific event so feel free to pass this info on to any car enthusiast with any marquee that might be interested.

I attended this event last year. Beautiful location and there are tons of heavy hitter cars (historic and modern). Pretty sure that Leno attended wearing denim on denim of course.

I feel like Newport is suddenly a burgeoning classic car destination. Wondering if the Audrain Car Museum is partially responsible.
