M4 Competition Lowering Springs (F82 2019)

Hi all

Im in the UK and looking at lowering my M4 to fill the arches a bit better.

I have seen several options such as Eibach Pro Kit, MMR, H&R etc. but wanted to ask what others may have chosen.

Eibach Pro Kit says it will lower 20mm front and 5-10mm rear but that doesn’t seem a lot at the back. MMR says 20mm front and 25mm at the rear which appears to be a better option.

So, any members have any experience with these or any other spring options?

Many thanks folks

I have the Eibach Pro kit. Sits perfectly for my liking.

Does the back sit low enough and look even compared to the front? I was concerned about the 5-10mm quoted for the drop at the rear. Thanks.

This might give you an idea of the back. The front will sit about 5mm lower than mine. My front height raised 5mm with the Bilstein B6 Damptronics.
But it’s on Eibach pro’s.

I have ordered my Eibach Pro Kit and a set of 12mm spacers. I did order 15mm but the supplier called and double checked and recommended 12mm if I wasn’t planning to stance…..which i am definitely not planning!!

I fitted a set of Automotive passion front arch guards to mine with 10mm spacers. I’m not a huge fan of the look but they are subtle enough and you can literally hear stones pinging off them when your driving down country lanes. My car only has 5k miles on it and I’m planning to keep it as mint as possible.

Very easy mate. About 2 minutes per side. Punch the 2 original blind rivets out. Replace them with the new ones provided with the kit.

I added a small bit of double sided tape down at the bottom.

They are just barely noticeable here.

LLOYD BMW Carlisle.

I’m aware though that there’s been more than one price increase since then though.

Hey guys, first post from me.

Picked up a mint Mineral Grey M4 at the weekend. Very please so far. Re the Eibach Pro kit Lowering springs. Defo want to do this, but does fitting this kit with 12mm spacers, make the ride any harsher?

Cheers
Louie
