M4 tpms error

Hello all,

I've got a problem with the TPMS system it's showing that there's an error on the idrive and it's not resetting,so everytime I start the car it's showing the error and a flashing light on the dash as well!

From what I've researched the problem is the TPS Control unit.
Can anyone on here know the exact location of where the unit is please?

Again from research I can't find an exact spot for the F82, thanks in advance.

I had a similar issue with my car, it wouldn't reset. I have an f80. The unit is not in the trunk but part of the rear differential control unit on our cars. I took it to the dealer and they ended up upgrading the software as there was an issue caused by using a trickle charger. It fixed it and I was good to go with no hardware issues.

I don't know what year you have or if you had the car on a charger, but mine is a 2016 for reference.

I've also been told it could the TPS control unit.
