Help a n00b pick a rear spoiler
Just picked a 2018 M3 ZCP, would like to add some sort of carbon rear spoiler. Trying to do my research, I can't exactly comprehend what my choices are when it comes to styles. Is there a pictorial guide out there somewhere I can reference?

The only variation is the size of the spoiler, as well as the weave of the carbon. I personally have the ******** gtx spoiler, very aggressive and perfect for my taste. Relatively cheap too.
Pic attached is my car for reference to size |

Just get the BMW M Performance Carbon Fiber Rear Spoiler. High quality, fits perfectly, and the weave size/pattern matches the interior bits, as well as any other M Performance CF goody you want to put on.

Congrats on the new ride. There are a ton of various options out on the market right now.
If you decide to go with OEM BMW one (the one I personally have and have had on all three of my m4s) you can shoot Brit a PM we give killer deals on those PARTS@STBMW

Is it safe to say that the M3 CS and the 3D Designs are very similar, minus the fact that the CS has the cutout in the center?

I just purchased the PSM Dynamic V2 (Should have it in about 2-3 weeks) A little pricey but have heard nothing but great things about their stuff.

Definitely the oem m performance spoiler.
It's not too aggressive but just enough. I would go with the other aggressive ones if you're planning on additional aggressive cf parts |

I guess OEM m performance looks the best , personal preference
Who do you think can install it better, regular shop or a body shop I dont want to take the pain to install it myself specially taking the factory lip off and cleaning it |

Sorry for the extremely late reply. But I'd say that fitment was 9/10. Most people would never notice, but the edge of the spoiler is 2-3mm away from the trunk edge. There was also 1 area I added a little extra double sided tape to, but not a big deal whatsoever.

Sorry for the late reply too. My M Performance CF rear deck lid/spoiler came from the factory. Great quality, clean look and not terribly aggressive.
I just purchased the Northwest Carbon (check their instagram, they don't have a website last time I checked) CF spoiler because I wanted a more aggressive look w/ the indentations you had mentioned. Not many people have mentioned their products, but the weave and construction seems pretty good for the price. ColoradoM3 (instagram) has a black version, not CF, if you want to check out the style and fitment. Mine isn't installed yet, I need to remove the Beta Link on my M performance spoiler the port uses to install (just use 3M double sided tape with whatever spoiler you get). |

If it's OEM, it'll fit very well and you really don't need to position it that much, just make sure there's no breaks in the double sided tape and get it stretched to the very edges of the spoiler. BMW quoted me $400 for labor which is basically the cost of the spoiler... |
