AC Schnitzer adds more power to the M3/M4

BIMMERPOST NEWS
AC Schnitzer adds more power to the M3/M4

COMMENTS

Using an additional ECU and upgraded exhaust(silencers, flap control, sound pipes), the folks in Aachen have raised the power of the M3 up to 503 HP and 482 ft-lb of torque.

In addition to the power upgrade AC Schnitzer offers a spring kit which will lower the car by 25-30mm at the front and 10-15mm at the rear. They f course will their RS adjustable suspension which will drop the car by 30-40mm at the front and 30mm at the rear.

A car can't be complete with the full array of aero parts which has now evolved to a Stage 3 variant with lots of CF. Parts include a racing splitter, CF side wings, CF mirror covers, rear and roof spoilers.

AC Schnitzer M3

Hope to see the power upgrade in the states. I wonder if this doesn't void the warranty like in Europe. Really want this... Aero bits are ok.

I have the ACS ECU piggyback module and no it doesn't void the OEM warranty (Worldwide) and actually comes with a ACS supplemental 2 year warranty for the engine and anything else that the the upgrade might affect. It is already available at ASC USA.

Also they advertise 502 HP, my car Dyno'd at 529HP and 512TQ with the module. Here is the link to the Dyno if you are interested. http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...1249883&page=7

I think the ACS guys are brilliant with a lot of their stuff and not so good with other bits (rims).

I have their front lip, rear diffuser with tips, exhaust, ECU module, and springs.....love all of it!

Even though it's a piggy back that power is awesome. Was waiting for a flash tune but this acs is great. I'm sure price will be along the lines of dinan though... Gona see what vendors have this.

I think EAS has it, also ACS USA site. It's not cheap in the US but you get what you pay for......performance with peace of mind (no warranty void)........wait for it...........$5395.........yikes!

http://preisliste.ac-schnitzer.de/ac...ngl_71037.html

I paid no where close to that and had it installed in Aachen.

I have had it for about 10 months, no issues, You can do the install yourself but I had mine installed at AC Schnitzer in Aachen since it's only 20 minutes from my house. Dealer can do it as well.

Yes, those are actually three different parts: 1) canards wings, 2) carbon splitter, 3) lower front-lip.

The canards are optional. The AC Schnitzer is probably one of the best looking front lips on the market, we're very happy with ours:

Let me know if you need any additional info on the ACS components, I'm happy to help.

Not trying to stir things up - just curious. Am impressed with TQ increase, but isn't the HP at the crank suppose to be in high 400s for a stock F8X (Perhaps Schnizter's numbers are RWHP?)? Interested in before/after Dynos on these cars).

To me it looks like Le Mans, or a rendering. If Le Mans this is #2 of 2 F80s.
