If you do motorway journeys then I would definitely consider getting the paint chip / smart warranty as the paint on BMW's is like soft cheese.

I'm about to have xpel film installed on the car as I have it on the M5 and it really works well.

I did, you get a useful set of clips in the boot and a net thats also useful for pinning stuff down. Its probably shocking value for money but thats the stock situation with BMW anyway

How has the xpel film been performing? I'm considering having a film fitted as my Z4 had two significant chips within days of collecting new and has taken a beating since!
