Richmond advertising 16k off CSs. BMW can't give these away.

I was told the following on CS:

Quote:
The discount is $5k-$7k but BMW also have rebates and finance incentives of up to $9,000.

$9,000 in credits + $7,000 discount = $16k off.
$5,000 BMW credit
$3,000 BMW Finance credit
$1,000 Owner's Loyalty credit.

That's all if you finance. Same dealer told me they don't lease CS models. 🤷🏻*♂️

Hey I'm the M Specialist at Richmond BMW. The $16,000 Discount isn't including whatever incentives you qualify for. So still money on the table if you qualify

Waste of my time.
My last two Ms came over Internet / phone negotiations, finalized my last while on vacation states away with a refundable $500 cc hold till I got in days later after my arrival back to NOVA. So it worked for me. But as you experienced, they all suck given the right circumstances eventually.

I always negotiate over email/text/phone before I even visit the dealership. When the price is right I come in to look at the car and sign. This has bitten me ONCE in the ass though. Had a pretty extensive negotiation and wore them down to a price I liked, had them make out the paperwork and EVERYTHING so all I would do is show up and sign. Wouldn't you know I showed up on the lot ready to drive off with the car, but that was the one and only time I misread the spec sheet and thought one of the options that was an absolute MUST for me was NOT on the car. My mistake entirely, but we had to basically carry the deal over to another car on the lot. Took hours what should have taken minutes.
