AWE Track Edition Exhaust review

Ordered the non-resonated Track edition exhaust a month ago on sale. Just installed along with catless downpipes. Not sure what I expected, but holy cow it is loud. Maybe a little too loud for my liking. Initially liked the tone, but can't get by with all the drone. I'm gonna drive for a few weeks see how I can handle this, but will be looking into possibly going to a resonator, or maybe convert to the switchpath version. If anyone else has thoughts/advice on some setups, would be appretiated. Will post up videos soon

EDIT

After the cold start in the morning in an underground garage, something had to be changed lol.

Converted to a resonated switchpath version, and love it now. Perfect tone and sounds deep. Love the option to put to quiet down in efficient mode. Definitely recommend this set up for anyone catless.

Switchpath is great . Love the option to switch from open or closed valves.
I have the non res switchpath. Would highly recommend it.

The talk about AWE was to go Resonated with DPs or Non without DPs. Of course YMMV but Non resonated paired with DP is insanely loud. I couldn't run that without valves. I'm super happy with my switchpath but don't have DP and leave the valves open almost all the time other than to keep it civil when I'm in my hometown.

Do you have stock downpipes with non res? Not sure if I should convert to switchpath as well as resonated.

TY all for your suggestions. I just installed the switchpath with resonator(still with catless downpipes). I am very satisfied now!

Catless + Track edition is way too loud

Track edition with stock DP is aggressive, adding catless takes it over the top

I have a resonated switchpath with catless downpipes now. Good enough for me. It's probably a tad louder than stock.

non res track with catless broke my ear drums

+1

One issue is absolute sound, and the other is RPM dependant drone..

non res and catless drones at certain RPM. Can be annoying to some..

Have you had the chance to experience NON RES CATLESS Switchpath and NON RES CATLESS Track edition?

Switchpath yes, track edition no..

The track edition is essentially a straight pipe..

Most don't like the non resonated with downpipes, unless you are looking for really loud and obnoxious.

We recommend resonated for downpipes and non resonated if you plan on keeping stock downpipes.

Would it still be loud on Eco mode? I'm planning on getting one around this weekend?

With the track edition it will be loud all the time. With the switchpath you can still use your exhaust valves.
