If you have a competition package car, I'd say stick with that exhaust for now as it sounds good stock and go with the carbon fiber bits.

My 2 cents...

MPE is the best exhaust in my opinion but if you have a competition pack car just get the carbon add ons.

I would do carbon and downpipes. Then you get the sound and the look..thats the route I am going.. plus the MPE sounds good

MPE first. I think the sound adds so much more to the driving experience than cosmetic CF. The CF diffuser does go very well with the MPE though:

I personally would get cosmetic mods first. Personalize it to your taste so it's differentiated from every other F80 on the road. Enjoy the performance as-is and when you feel it needs a touch more power/sound/handling and etc mod it. You then would notice the gains/improvements since you spent time in stock form and appreciate it more. This approach might add a few more years of ownership. If you mod everything to the max on day one, you'll get bored even though you're driving around in a modded M3.

Can't wait, like what I see so far.

OP: I personally vote for exhaust but it all comes down to what you feel is the priority.

If the choice is for only 1 mod at a time then it should be suspension first. Getting rid of the atrocious wheel gaps and lowering the car will improve both looks and performance. It can be cheap if you only get springs but I recommend getting an height adjustable kit (like M Performance HAS or KW HAS) or the new KW DDC kit.

The next mod I would get would be wheels or exhaust.

CF bits can be purchases piece at a time and they really only seem to go well on cars that got the other mods first but that's just my opinion.

His exhaust is fairly new lol. Mines the same as his but I plan on cleaning every 2 months to keep the looking as clean as possible
