It's upgraded (to hell) 1M engine I would think.

I wonder how and where the eturbo would fit however.

Me too. That is why I don't expect any revolutionary turbo technology on the M3/M4 if the engine is an I6, as confirmed, but just an improved N54/N55, so nothing S54/S65 nor even S63Tu worthy.
