F8x Skittles (suspension and color comparison)

Here are two F80 M3s we have in for upgrades and our Sakhir M4 all side-by-side to compare the varying colors and suspension options these cars have.

MW F80 M3 - Stock suspension and no spacers (for now).

SO F82 M4 - BC Racing Coil Overs (prototype setup).

AY F80 M3 - H&R Sport Springs (F80 Specific) with 15mm spacers all around.

We thought everyone would enjoy seeing them all together with all the varying setups.

Be sure to let me know if you have questions on any of these setups seen here.

The AY - those are "sport" springs not "super sport" right? Perfect height imo.

Too low for my taste.

Most low end coilover can't compensate for the lost travel. Both ride quality and handling are impacted negatively.

That is the beauty of us working directly with BC, besides their own research and data we can give lots of real world input on how the car feels....after driving for over 2k miles on the H&R super sport springs we can say, at this point, the current revision of the prototype coil overs doesn't require you to give up ride quality, and adjustments are being made to add even more travel to the production units.

I don't think oem looks bad at all, especially considering the front still looks good and the rear has very little gap

I do hate the oem wheels and those volks look surprisingly good

Wow look at the difference in roof heights. I love the drop on your M4, and it makes the others look too talk IMO haha.

Honestly, I like the stock ones the best. Don't really care for the super low or wide sitting look.

I love the M4's low windshield angle and roof height, but I like the M3s rear fenders. Such a tough call, both are gorgeous cars.

You can really see here how much lower the roofline of the M4 is over the M3. I still dig the M3 though. :-)

Thanks for sharing! I'd take door #2 & #3 (L to R)

Glad to hear the BC coils aren't a sacrifice, in terms of ride quality, over the H&Rs
