Sakhir Orange M4 after Opticoat

Finally took my car to get Opticoat applied. Afterwards, a rep from Rohana wheels contacted me to do a photoshoot and mini-movie using my car this Sunday. For now these are just the post detail/opticoat pics, enjoy.

Nice! I plan to have Opticoat applied my AY M3 when it arrives. What did it cost if you don't mind me asking.

So, I guess before I get pinged many more times for prices, my friend did the prep and installation and got a really good price (50% - 75% lower than most shops). If you are in the Chicago area and are interested in contacting him just ping me. Thanks.

Does opticoat give it that glassy look. It's amazing!

Yes, he put the Gloss Coat on which I really like. Depending on the color of your paint, Opticoat also brings out a deeper color, so my car is the slightest tint more red rather than orange.

Got me seriously thinking about it.
Still torn on whether it's really better than sealants and waxes.

I might be missing a step or two but if I remember correctly...

1) Hand wash and dry & sonax wheel clean
2) Clay bar
3) compounding
4) Wax/polish - 2 step process
5) additional compounding
6) wax/polish
7) clean engine bay
8) polish exhaust tips
9) opticoat (whole car including: wheels, brake calipers, engine bay, and he also stacked the opticoat on the front bumper)

I dropped it off Thursday night and he wasn't finished until about 8pm Friday night. It's only him that works on your car and he seems really detail oriented. He was telling me about scratches on my car that I couldn't even see! haha

The car looks amazing and even after driving it, I can tell it doesn't pick up dirt at all around the wheels like it used to.
