I resolved by using m2 gearbox mode and using more throttle and the flappy paddles. Not a big deal.
Yeah ... while I love the 2018 CP overall, I preferred the 2015's insanity (in daily driving).

The 2018 feels overall wussified.

Yes, agreed. One piece of insanity I wish was backed down in the '15 is the fact that dsc off was needed to really have fun in the car (even with euro mdm)

Is '18 cp better in terms of having an electronic safety net?

Shifting

I just took mine to the dealer because of jerking what seems like 1-2 shifting. They couldn't find anything of course.

What's this gts flash I saw people mention?

Still tends to jerk from 3rd -> 2nd (more like an engine brake feeling)
I daily drive with the exact same settings. I get the same jerky downshift! Freaks me out sometimes.

Even my police cruiser does that (engine braking) I don’t think that’s an issue is just how cars are built now days.

2016 m4 dct 40k miles

Hard down shifting/engine braking from 3-2-1 gears.

Scenario:
Auto mode D- postion
Steering: Comfort
Drive mode: Efficient
Drive logic: fastest shifting mode or d1 or 1 point.

When coming to a complete stop at a traffic light after letting the gas go off and let it do its shifting thing, the 3rd gear kind holds until to point and releases very hard giving a jerky felling and same with the second gear. I'm assuming this is because of low RPM's. I had the car checked last week at the bmw dealership and he found no error codes or any malfunctioning. He states that it is common with dct and is not an issue. Dint even attempted to reset the Adaptation saying the values are normal.

Requested black seat emblems for cracked ones and they gave me the same old silver ones saying they cannot order a different part and can only replace with silver ones.
