Same thing happened to me on K sport for a Nissan and got same reply
I filed a claim through PayPal and this morning have an email saying they agree that the pads are not in the right place. They're supposedly rushing me a new set. We shall see how this goes...

Yes, a new set of brackets. If it saves me having to get the ones I currently have machined, I am willing to work with them. I am not real pleased though. They assured me that they had sold this BBK for the F82 and it was a perfect fit.

It is possible that the rears would work as is, but the pads right on the edge! Given that both the rotor and pad are beveled, I believe that after some wear it would have caused issues. The fronts are definitely not going to work where they currently are.

Then they should be able to prove it with pictures at a minimum, and drawings at best. Failure to have pictures or drawings detailing the fit would prove they didn't do simple due diligence and documentation during their product development. Unfortunately, this is all too common in the auto aftermarket.

I received the new brackets on Wed. I installed them and the front is fine, but the rear is still not right. Been going back and forth with them again trying to get it figured out. Pretty fed up and ready to just send it all back at this point. Going to cost a fortune to ship to China though.

If you have to pay shipping, better to have a new bracket designed and made locally.
This shows the amount of R&D they put in those kits ..

There were several factors that caused me to try Ceika. In hind sight, I believe StopTech would have been the better choice. I wish there were more good track pad options for the StopTech kits though!

PFC, Ferodo, Hawk, CT, G-Loc, Porterfield, etc. all offer race pad compounds for the ST60 and ST40 calipers. Is there a specific manufacturer and/or pad compound you’re looking for?

Ideally DTC-60 front and rear. How did you find all of that? I did a ton of searching and wasn't able to find any of those when deciding which BBK to buy.

Update: Ceika sent me a schematic of the measurements that the part they sent me is supposed to confirm to. They aren't even close! Ugh!

Thanks for taking one for the team, and trying out this BBK and posting the results. However, I think the time has come to bite the bullett, and send it back

Yup, I agree. I did invest in two sets of Hawk pads for this, but I should be able to mostly recover my money on that. I did some searching and found the StopTech kits for about $500 less than I paid for the Ceika stuff. That should just about cover a set of pads.

+1 for this - also would love to see some pics of the brakes from a bit further back with wheels on etc!

I was unable to recover any money for these brakes. They refused to help me have brackets machined that fit properly. The calipers are forcing the inner pads to contact the rotor and the outer pads are a good 3-4mm from contact. I am going to just use them as is and sacrifice a bit of inner pad to the brake Gods.

I would honestly avoid dealing with Ceika. It was a nightmare! They made a lot of false claims and I really had no ground to stand on with PayPal or my CC company because they did actually deliver a product.

At this point I don't think it is worth throwing more money at this. They are only a few mm off and the pistons should be able to compensate once the inner pad is worn in.

Right rear inner pad is still dragging the rotor after ~1500 miles. Left rear stopped after a few hundred. The fronts were off, but not by enough to cause the pad to pinch.
