Need some help with UUC ssk

I posted this in a UUC thread, but it didn't get any responses.

I installed the UUC ssk on my 18' F80.

I believe it's the updated version. The knob is straight, but the issue is that the shifter is now too far forward. 4th is like it's sitting in neutral and neutral is like 3rd. 5th gear is way far forward and to the right. It was installed correctly (I think) with the lever bolt/screw facing forward.

Any suggestions?
