I don't why that matter since you'll never see it but it has doublesided tape on it. I can upload pics if you like:

These sit on top of your factory caps and remain mounted with double sided 3M tape as the seller said.

They are really high quality and get compliments all the time, I have them myself. GLWS

my bad I missed the part of it sitting on top of the oem cap. And OP reason why I asked to see the bottom was cause I got a VTT CAP and the snap rings wouldn't allow me to take the cap off.
