Swapping tires L to R for Laguna Seca
My drivers side front has some outside corner wear from 1 day HPDE and 3 Time Attacks on a small track. Other tires look great. I'm heading to Laguna Seca next week and I think I should be okay just swapping left to right on the front tires. It should be fine right?
Here are pics of my fronts, driver side first, then passenger side:

Wouldn't you want to keep that tire on the driver's side for Laguna since it's CCW?

I'm kinda wondering the same thing except the wear would be on the inside passenger instead of the outside driver side since I won't be flipping them (they are directional). Leaving them on the driver side would be less than idea for T3, T4, bottom of T8 and T10. However, I've never been there. Inside wear like that wouldn't be so bad since the outside corner is doing most of the work right?

T8 at Willow wear?
Anyway you slice it, going all the way up to Laguna and cording tires early in the day would be more than disappointing. Wouldn’t chuck the tires, but wouldn’t drive up to Laguna expecting them to last more than a couple sessions |

Do you think it will cord if it's in the interior corner? The most wear I ever see is on the outside corner. Running -2.7 camber up front if that means anything.

I swap the tires across the axle on RE71’s. Un-mount the tire and flip on the rim. Then put the rims on the opposite side of the car. This can almost double the life of the tire. This way you get to wear both shoulders.

Just would hate to cut the day short on account of that tire cording. |
