Yea mate have bootmod3 it's amazing
Depends what mods you have I am currently running stage 2 map have catless downpipes, changed the spark plugs and had them gapped according to bootmod3 recommendations as well as m performance exhaust and customer midpipe. I started with stage 1 93 map then moved to stage 2 after downpipes and spark plugs Definately worth the cost makes a massive difference to the cars performance and exhaust sound. Where are you located? Elite euro in Melbourne did all the work highly recommended very professional and knowledgeable guys. In sydney there is BMR but not sure if they do direct to public anymore. |

BMR is great for parts as well ask for Stuart, tell him got details from Ali in Melbourne.
Just diwnoioes is not that bad, however with my setup it is crazy loud and I love it. Best thing is with the flaps closed it's very quiet but with the flaps open it's on another level. Cold start is always gonna be loud, I am not sure how it will be with just downpipes as I did my exhaust at the same time. With the exhaust and dps yes it is loud but only lasts for maybe 20 to 3p seconds the clams down. Smell wise honestly not that bad, I like the smell of fuel lol so dont mind It and not really noticable. I would definately recomend getting downpipes then bootmod3 if you plan to keep the car for a while and have some fun. Good thing with bootmod3 is you can flash it yourself its extremely easy unlike other custom tunes where you need a tuner. |

I'm running a mild tune (CS map) from BM3 as it's more than enough power for me. The tune also changes the software in the car to make it burble and have a gruntier sound (wastegate flaps opening and closing). I have a valve controller that I can flick open and off using one of the buttons on my indicator (BMS Canflap Module). Helps when you're passing cops, leaving the house early etc. Also BM3 comes with cold start delete so you can probably do this if you have angry neighbours. No petrol smell unless you do a secondary cat delete (i.e swap out your stock midpipe for a non-res catless one). I love the car! I have an Akrapovic muffler and VRSF catless downpipes. |
