Vorsteiner side skirts installed.

Hi there! Hopefully this thread will help anybody who might be interested in this part, but wanted a bit more information. I've really only seen two other cars with these side skirts (the black GTS and the purple M4) and those looked like Vorsteiner promo cars so here's some feedback from a pleb like me.

Anyway, I've wanted these for awhile but the $$$ kind of kept me away. Since I have a nice fund set away for what was going to be spent on a G82 (and that ain't EVER happening now due to the hideousness), I splurged a bit on these and honestly couldn't be happier. They are gorgeous to look at and fit 100% perfectly. Installation was a breeze, you only use ten provided screws per side which use existing holes, some 3M sticky goo, and finally some thin tape which goes around the outside edges. Everything is included with the skirts to install both in less than an hour, and they're set on the car like concrete now. The biggest issue is if you already have M-Performance side skirts which I did, those things are a massive PITA to get off as they RTV'd the hell out of them from the factory. It took a lot of heat gun work along with pounding to get them off the car. Getting the old skirts off took longer than installing the new ones!

I've included a bunch of pics which will hopefully help you decide if you'd like these for your car. I also have the Vorsteiner diffuser and spoiler, and would get the front lip but my car is so low I don't think it would last a week being carbon. I think I'll have to stick with the front M-Performance lip!

Finally, huge shoutout to @mike@x-ph.com for another flawless transaction. He tells me he has another set in stock, so if interested definitely give him a shout as I believe Vorsteiner is seriously backed up right now and this might be your only chance for awhile! Thanks for looking!

Looking great as usual!!! How far do these stick out compared to the MP? Do you find yourself hitting them with your feet at all?

Thanks a ton, and GREAT question! I completely forgot to mention this. The answer is NO, they really don’t stick out any farther than MP. In fact, they sort of cut diagonally down as opposed to straight out like the MP so even less of a chance of stepping on them.

Please see top down picture, hope this helps and thanks again!

Thanks for posting this and your impressions. This definitely helped with my purchase decision. I was fixated on RKP side skirts for the longest time - but this changed my mind.
