That's what I'm thinking. Might need to be wider. You just need to clear that point when you're mid straddle, then your clearance will only increase beyond that. Knowing the wheelbase and clearance, if you could get the angle between the upper and lower part of the driveway, we could probably roughly calculate what could work. Then you could test it (carefully) with wood. If that works, you could probably find something like this product that could be permanently mounted with concrete screws. Voila. Saved yourself several grand.

In the end, we decided to redo the entire driveway. I got quotes from a few contractors. The one we went with quoted $4000 to remove the peak and repave at a less agressive slope or $7750 to redo the entire driveway. Since this is our forever house and we don't plan to move again, we decided on the latter. The contractor says the cost of repaving with concrete or pavers was about the same so we went with pavers.

They did a great job and our F83 doesn't scratch at all backing into the garage even when entering straight in. (Excuse the messy garage!)

Here's a pic of the driveway after day 1 demo. They were surprisingly fast and only took four days to finish it.

Looks great! A definite win-win! No more scraping and a much better curb appeal!

LOL. I'm hoping the polymeric sand the contractor used holds up. I also read that a sealant can be applied to the pavers/sand to protect it even more.

How long did it take the weeds to grow between your pavers?

Thanks! I'm glad it's done and the car is in it's rightful spot. As for chickens, it's definitely cheaper to buy organic eggs than to raise chickens for them. My wife has always wanted chickens and when we moved to our new house, we finally had space for them. They're her emotional support animals. Honestly.

The mealworms are kept in a three-drawer organizer while the beetles are in a crafting drawer style organizer.

I know that the thread is dead, but maybe someone will still be able to help me. Basically I've moved to a new house, and already scraped my car 3 times because of the driveway, should I tell my landlord to change it?
I decided to edit the post because as I see, asking the landlord to change the driveway is not a good idea, haha. Anyways my car is pretty old, and it is scraped in multiple more places, so I thought about having it collected by a scrap car collection company. A friend of mine recommended using scrapi.com, he said that they did the job quick and free, have you guys heard about it?

Does it comply with regulations?

Is there a way to either grind down the peak and level it or maybe remove the peak part of my driveway and pour in new concrete to make it less sharper of an angle? That looks like a Toyota Prius 2 or 3 .

redoing your driveway is probably the best thing you could've done. Makes it look WAY cleaner, probably raised the value of your home more than what you spent, and your cars can go in and out comfortably.
