V2 front springs are slightly lower than V1 as well. I have V1, my brother has V2. IMO, V1 fronts look better than V2 -V2 overall looks non-traditional Eibach, like they tried too hard to please the slammed-look people.

Looks great , assuming your car is ZCP what are your impressions on the eibach springs ride quality compared to stock ZCP, I hear the spring rates are softer than ZCP?

Anyone on CP using Eibach and would send their feedback to the ride quality between stock CP and eibach springs?

Can anyone weigh in on clarifying this for me:
In all the posts prior, it's said that the drop for P/N E10-20-031-09-22 is: F: 0.8" = 20mm R: 0.2" = 5mm Having a look on the Eibach direct website (Australia) it show the following F: 0.8" = 20mm R: 0.6" = 15mm Is this right?? |

Hope you can help me. You mentioned you out 12mm spacers in the front and 10mm in the back? Do you notice any rubbing at all? Thanks! |

These are V2 with 265/285 35 19 RE71 with 12 mm spacers front/rear. No rubbing no issues. Ride is similar to stock maybe a little worse rebound dampening , waiting to code CS EDC.

V2 Eibach's with 12mm/18mm
Hey guys,
Here's pics of mine that I installed last year on my 2017 YMB M3. Non-ZCP, No EDC with 12mm front and 18mm rear (the same set up I had on my 335 MPE) During daily driving there was no rubbing, except on the rare occasion, with big dips. I only drive in the city. However, with passengers in the rear seats, rubbing was often. Swapped this car for a 2018 SMB M3 Ultimate Package just a few days ago. Will likely lower on Eibach V2's with 12mm spacers all around. If anyone wants to trade 18mm for 12mm, let me know =) |

CanAutM3, Do advise, if you believe it is unwise to run the ZCP rears with Eibach front? Seems the rear spring rates could be higher but have not taken any ratio into consideration.

I see different part numbers listed for m4 (037) and m3 (036), is there a difference, I thought the suspension set ups were identical?
Never mind, seems there is.... Last edited by Ilikemike; 02-23-2018 at 12:09 PM.. |

I found the base F8X M3/4 rear axle was too soft relative to the front, which made the rear less predictable. I find installing Eibachs made things better since they increased the rear spring rate proportionnaly more than the front. Reducing rear grip relative to the front made the rear step out in a more predictable manner at the lmit. Interestingly, when the CP was released, although stiffer overall than the Eibach, it had springs that have a very similar front-to-rear ratio to the Eibachs. Which I believe is an inportant contributor to reviews saying the CP feels "more planted" and "better controled". Installng Eibach front springs with stock CP springs in the rear could make the rear too stiff relative to the front which could make the car too loose (too much oversteer). There is no way of knowing without experimenting. One courageous soul needs to try it out.
