I'd be surprised if you don't end up in one. Please get one for out of state and don't support the insanity there. |

I am a BMW fan. I never denied that. I'm also an avid GT3 fan boy. I don't deny that either. If I wanted one, I could get one at MSRP today. My point in saying I'm not invested is because I don't own a G nor have I ordered one. It's merely a topic of conversation. Quote:

I don't know where the generational cut-off between "true M" owners and those who just want the flashy range-topper for commuting lies. I think with the turbocharged engines, BMW and BMW M attracted a whole lot of new people. So, F8x? That and also attractive lease deals and non-M models that are now less exciting have played a role as well. BMW is just now catering to an even wider audience than ever before... as they tend to do with each generation, I think.

I know you and others will think I'm nuts if not already. But I could've bought a very nicely specced/low mileage 991.2 GT3. I'm glad I passed on it for the CGTS 4.0. It's such a great and fun street car compared to the more serious track focused cars like the GT3s and my previous ZL1 1LE. Last edited by minn19; 04-15-2021 at 07:12 PM.. |
