Navigation/Carplay/music not working

Hi all, 2018 M3 here with id 6 having issues connecting phone and playing music via bluetooth/carplay. car navigation also stuck on 'loading' (see pic).

I've tried rebooting, unpairing/pairing, resetting via holding power button. Any ideas? Upon car start, I hear a clicking sound coming from the media buttons (like a ping pong ball is stuck in there) for about 10 seconds.

Do you have a CD in the the dash? Maybe try ejecting it if you do.
