Alex got what he deserved. Donut and Burnout are not considered normal driving behavior by the BMW or other manufacturers, therefore is NOT covered under warranty. Stop saying M cars are designed for these tasks or tracks. They aren't. No track designed car will go 10k oil change or 50k without engine rebuild. They are road cars designed to be more capable than your normal cars and is good for occasionally spirited driving.
If you read the warranty term from other performance car manufacturers (Porsche, Aston Martin, Ford Shelby GT350, Nissan GTR and etc). They explicitly said racing, competition or track is not considered normal use and is excluded from warranty. You bought it, it's your car. Feel free to do what ever you want. But if you go beyond what's covered by the warranty and got caught, pay up and move on! |
