BM3 license transfer on same car

Hello, I recently purchased an f82 m4 with bm3 and custom f80 Paul tune. I want to turn on cold start/GTS roar but if I transfer license I lose the custom tune. Can I just use the previous owners log in info on my phone just to turn cold start back on & minimize burbles? That way I don’t waste a license transfer.

Yes that would work, especially since it's based on the VIN. You could have him message protuningfreaks and say he changed email addresses and probably get them to swap it over since the VIN is the same.

Did you purchase the car already custom tuned and you don’t own a BM3 license?

I think he’s saying he bought a f82 with BM3 AND a custom tune already installed. He doesn’t want to transfer the BM3 license to him because he’ll lose the custom tune that’s already on the car. I think…
