FS: 2018 M3 CS for $81,000 - no stories, just need it gone

SOLD (traded-in)

First up, I'm making a new post to replace my old one: https://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sh....php?t=1594669

I have a Porsche lined up to buy, but the trade-in value is too low, so looking to find a private buyer to buy the M3CS as a "convenience deal" through the dealer. I've been given trade-in values of mid-$70k, which is shockingly low considering I paid $110k new in November - so, hoping to find a buyer who wants a great deal, and certainly less than what a dealer would be asking once its on the lot: $81,000.

Absolutely no stories, no accidents, no damage, 9300 km, extensive clear film (Xpel) and tinted. Here are the details on the M3:

In-service at end of November 2018, so minimal mileage @ +/- 9,300 km.

Car received extensive Xpel Ultimate Plus immediately after delivery, including: full front bumper, full hood, full front fenders, rockers, extended around rear fenders and behind, mirrors, headlights, A-pillars, B-pillars, full roof, door cups, gas door and luggage/loading area.

C.Quartz UK 3.0 applied to car, brake callipers and wheels.

The pictures show a BMW M Performance Exhaust mounted on the car, but this has been removed and the stock CS exhaust re-installed.

Front plate is attached using Carbonio mount to lower grill, so bumper not drilled.

Because the car will be sold through the dealer where I am buying my replacement vehicle, financing through dealer is possible.

This is the cheapest CS on the market and a great deal!

I think it is - I'm just shocked how the price on the M3 and M4 CS has plunged so much. I paid $110k in November last year (with some discounts), and now the new/demo cars still in inventory are low-mid $90k. I understand that BMW has thrown some big money (+/- $15k) at the dealers to help move the remaining M3CS and M4CS, but still.

So, for anyone who wants a M3, $80k is going to be hard to beat in bang-for-buck, particularly given the $5k in Xpel, ceramic tint and C.Quartz coating...

Moving to Ontario in November. If it's still for sale I'll sell my M2 and get this. In the meantime I hope you sell.

Thanks for killing the market. I told you it wouldnt sell while new ones were still available. Now its been listed for too long which is why your trade in sucks. Self inflicted.

Thanks for your helpful post. I'm not killing the market, and my trade-in value has nothing to do with the time on market. Pricing is now dictated by the fact that they did not sell well in the first place, and now BMW is blowing up the market by offering dealers $15k to sell the rest of the M3CS and M4CS - that's why you're seeing multiple new or demo M3CS for sale from $89990 (Policaro), $92,995 (Levis), $95,462 (Markham), $95,888 (Pfaff)...

Why would a dealer offer a trade-in value in the $80k range if they're selling brand new CS models for $90-$95, with some dealers sitting on multiple cars (e.g. Pfaff).

Good luck with the sale - the car is well priced considering the things you have added to it.

Hope it sells quick

Hey op ,since you’re trading it for a porsche ,give pfaff porsche in Toronto a call ,and see what their quote for your car is. They usually give me very good trade in value for my cars , a lot higher than all local porsche dealer.

When I traded in my my2015 m4 back in 2016 ,had it for 14 months. They gave me 65k for the m4 with 19000km and my msrp was 81k after discount. Also traded in my 991.2 gts to them ,Msrp was 158k ,had it for about 8 months with 7500km ,and they gave me 145k for it.

If you need my sales guy’s contact ,let me know.

P.S. stick with porsche op , much less depreciation ,and a much more premium vehicles in general.

Oh no. Full disclosure, I was kinda hoping that you hadn’t sold it yet. I was trying my best to sell my car so I could buy your CS, lol. Oh well. Congrats on the new vehicle OP. What did you get?
