Hi!
I am a beginner at wheels and rims and I am looking for replacement for my 20" Vertinis which I had on my white f80. I am going down in size to 19" because the shity roads in Norway beat up my 20x10.5 ET27 295/25R20 rear and 20x9 ET20 255/30R20 front.

I am looking at Niche Targa M130 with the following wheel tire specs:
Front 8,5x19 ET15 + rear 10x19 ET20 with 255/35R19 + 295/30R19. Will these fit?
I see that some people run smaller aspect ratio in the rear? Why is that? Does it give a different look? Ive tried to read most of the posts hear but dont seem to get it..
Appreciate all help!

Don't do that, keep going 20, you will not feel the difference between 19 and 20

Anyone try fitting 19x10.5 +25?

I found a steal on TE37 but they are E46 M3 fitment

I like an aggressive look. I was planning on throwing 18mm spacer on the stock wheels. But idk if +25 offset will be too much?

Anyone try this and/or have pics?

The rear fenders are already rolled flat from the factory on newer BMW's.

E60 166M Wheels fit

Hi,

looking at some options for second hand OEM wheels for my winter set.

Can someone confirm that use of E60 M5 166M rims on F80 is not going to work:
19 x 8.5 +12 in the front 255-35-19 tire
19 x 9.5 +28 in the rear 255-35-19 tire

The online calculator says:
New front wheel will have an inner rim which is 23.4mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 10.7mm more than before.
New rear wheel will have an inner rim which is 18.4mm further away from the suspension strut. The outer rim will poke out 5.6mm more than before.

My assumption is that it might be too aggressive offset in front, and maybe even in the back giving only 255 width of the rear tire.

Anyone cares to comment?
And yes, I am totally new in the wheels fitment area...

I believe all BMW’s (at least fairly modern ones) run a 72.56 as shown on the apex wheels site.

Might pick up a set of works in the following sizes for my F80:

20x9.5 +17 T-Disk
20x11.0 +34 R-Disk

What tire sizes would work? I see most run a 255/30/20 & 285/30/20 but it appears to have some stretch. I plan on lowering the car with either the Dinan HAS or M HAS, so nothing aggressive. Would a wider tire work to help protect the lip of the wheel?

Yes it would, a 285 on an 11 would be a bit stretched.

You will have absolutely no problems running 20x9 ET20 and 20x10.5 ET35.
