<< Mineral White ///M3 -- & -- Long Beach Blue ///M2 >>

BIMMERPOST
     Featured on BIMMERPOST.com
Its been a short winter here in the GTA. Took my car out of storage last night, it was only stored for 2 months... was dying to get back into it!

I'm spending my week at BMW University at BMW Canada Headquarters in Richmond Hill, Ontario.

I pull up, happy to be in my M3, this morning and see a Long Beach Blue M2 sitting there. Had to take the opportunity to park next to it and take a few pictures.

I have to say, in person, the car looks GREAT! I saw it a few weeks ago at the Toronto Autoshow, but a car inside looks different then it does outside for sure! The flares on it look huge. This thing has awesome presence!

Heres some side by side and solo of the M2

Enjoy!

I'd love to see LBB offered as a standard color when the M4 gets facelifted.

The drop on your car is perfect btw!

His M3 isn't stock of course it looks better. But a slightly lowered M2 with MPE parts aftermarket front lip, I'm sure it would be a hard decision which looks better!

Yup, OP's M3 looks very nice! However, we need a fair competition... M2 needs the same mods.

But not taking away from that beautiful M3. I am actually deciding between the M3 (wifey pushing for a 4 door this time) or the M2.

Don't make the same mistake I did back in 2011 when I purchased my e90 M3 new. Wifey said we having a kid soon purchase the 4 door. Kid came and I never drove with the family in the M3. Now with two kids I'm getting what I want an M2. Wife agrees too.

Ha! You have a very valid point my friend... I will definitely think about what you said because I think I would do the same and not let anyone in the car anyway. I am pretty anal like that! I am also a coupe guy first and foremost.

Another point... the price delta is sufficient enough that I can mod the hell out of the M2 with the leftover cash.

Your Silverlake M3 is gorgeous! What an amazing color... hearkens back to the day, but still looks so modern.

Damn, your F80 looks beautiful. Those are my 2 choices right now ironically, MW F80 vs LBB M2. I'm #2 for an M2, but these lease rates are driving me nuts.

The stance on your F80 is PERFECT. As the post above says, what are the exact details??

If you are on V3s did you not opt for adaptive?? By any chance do you know the ride height your set at. The contis actually look good in your setup!!

Back to being confused about my car purchase lol. I want a 16 for the maintenance plan and idk if its going to happen with an M2 at this point even with being #2 since last year.

The whole reason I wanted an F80 M3 was to add a sedan to 2 coupes. Considering I'm single and the rear seats of my E92 has been used about 4 times in 4 years, I'm thinking it's a bit overkill to "needing" a sedan. But they sure look amazing!

I'm hoping they add it just to the standard color list. But at $1500, I'd gladly eat ramen for a couple of weeks haha.

I finally got to see Atlantis Blue in real life, and the 2 colors are definitely from the same family. So to me, LBB does feel very special.

In the looks department, the m3 looks better than the m2. I'm not a fan of the m2's front and back (looks like it came off the new x6).
