New F82 M4 CP Owner

Evening all

I'm back on Bimmerpost after two years, was previously quite active on F30 and G30 forums.

Recently sold my G30 530d after 3.5 years of good ownership. The car was the perfect all rounder for my use at that time.

Always wanted an F82 after seeing my first one in 2014, so was a scratch I just had to itch and is now my first M car. I did look many times at the G82 but I just couldn't stomach that grill, no matter how hard I tried.

Bought a two owner 2018 M4 CP in Mineral Grey with Silverstone Leather and all the must have options including HUD, HK, Full Carbon Inside and Outside including Splitter, Spoiler and Diffuser.

BMW demo and then one 55 year owner who did very little mileage, as he had a 911R, Aston Martin and a X5M so was not short of cash or other cars to use.

Black diamond cut 666m have been powder coated in Black Satin and they look amazing.

Collected it today and kept thinking YOLO!

Looks amazing. These cars are just top of the tree for street cred styling in my world.
Like yourself, I'm not keen on a new grill, so will be looking for an F82.

I'm interested in doing exactly what you've just done, so I'd really love to see a report to how you're finding your new car.

Looks incredible Paul. Just some side skirts to finish the set - check out Carbon Factory in Bletchley. They're doing mine.

Can't wait to see it in the flesh soon.

Yes, thinking of the side skirts too….the exterior carbon kit just finish the car off IMO.

Let's do a coffee catch up at some drive through local to us….let me know when you free mate.

Three days of ownership and yes it's winter, but it does feel special to drive.

Just went to check the air pressures and didn't come back for an hour lol…

P.S - may ask your brother for another detail. He did my black F30. I think it would be better with indoor facilities, thinking of doing a two stage and ceramic coat early Jan.

Have you only got the front carbon spoiler or is there a rear carbon diffuser as well?

check that the suspension doesn't still have the shipping blocks in them. This Comp pack looks abnormally high, especially the rear

I hope not….it went into BMW today for a health-check and there is no sign of shipping blocks on the video they sent me.

Just checked the gap on my flat driveway and it looks fine.

Hey Paul. I'm now booked in for (edit - got a cancellation slot / now 30th Dec) at Carbon Factory in Bletchley if you fancy popping over. They're doing my skirts and splitter (diffuser and spoiler already on). May be a good chance for you to get a decent rate on the skirts if I'm introducing you. They're so friendly - glad to have them on the doorstep.

I'm also sizing up some exhaust tips - they look like a brilliant waste of dosh!

Apparently they'll be a few hours on mine so enough time for some coffee and car chat if you fancy it. (Will also get Matt to swing by and see how your paint is looking).

Car looks great. Jealous of you guys having another local M friend. I need to get out more!

Ordering some stuff from carbon factory shortly but I'm up north will have to get someone else to fit it
