No, not at all, and likely will never get bored of it. It's the perfect car for my needs.

I'm still not even near the limits of what the car is capable of. Still working on the driver mod.

Not the car's fault.. M3 is pretty boring when used as I sadly do most of the time. Puttering around in suburbia avoiding pot holes and endlessly stuck behind minivan and suv pace cars is a crime against M-anity. I wish I lived closer to a track, and had time to track, or had time to travel to tracks. Or even time for road trips out to more desolate areas. One or 2 good corners/ramps here and there is about the best I can hope for. I do have hopes for some more time next summer/track season tho.

Also +1 driver mods needed.

Unfortunately yes. Aside from my M4 CS, I was disappointed by all the other F80/82 versions I had. On a pure fun to drive scale, I found many other brands much more enjoyable. Including Ford, GM and ultimately Porsche.

If you want a do it all four door (especially with a MT) the M3 is hard to beat though.

This is the key right here - to drive F8X in situations where you can explore its limits: closed course AutoX and Track and constant improvements to driver mod. It makes the duality of the car much more apparent and makes the car more enjoyable because you don't have the urge to explore said limits on canyon roads.

I got bored of Mineral Grey so I wrapped it in Orange. I do regret not going with Austin Yellow.

See quite a lot on here or on other boards whose M3s are their daily drivers, as in all they do is sit in traffic. I get buying it for the looks and the aura of it alone, but it's really a waste of a car. No wonder they get bored so easily.

But also, I'm one of the few who know what they want in a car and when they find it, they keep it for many years.

I think for me, bored isn’t exactly the right word. It was exciting enough to make me buy it, and nothing really changed. The car doesn’t get boring, it’s more like you start to try to find those incremental things on the margins - what can another car do just a little bit better? So i sold my GTS more to pursue some measure of incremental gain.

Some people do actually get bored, though - no matter how great the car is, they still want the latest and greatest, or just experience something different. And that’s good for them too.

Same as some mentioned above.

My M3 is primarily my dad car right now. I have two child seats in the back and mostly drive around with them. I also work from home and probably use it the most to drive the kid to school!

I think that, in combination with living in NJ without many nearby scenic nice driving routes, make any car boring. Thank God it looks so good, or else I would have sold it now. I may have even considered to sell it now regardless, if it wasn't a manual trans.

Really aiming at tracking this car next season. I don't even know how to drive it yet. I'm really hoping that will make it MUCH less boring and much more what I expected…a jack of all trades.

my average speed is 25mph. I drive a lowered m3 in the streets of center city philly. still a gorgeous car, not many sedans that look this clean. Its a PITA to drive in the city, but I rarely drive

I definitely got F80 fatigue after owning three of them in a relatively short period of time. Overall great ownership experience and happy to say I owned them. I often wonder how the F series M car will be viewed 10 years from now. I would also like to note, the CS was far and away the best of the variants.

Getting bored of a f8x is definitely a champagne problem if I've ever heard of one

i've been getting a little bored of my 6mt f80 after 3 years. its boring around town where most of us are 95% of the time. the trans isn't as good as my gt3 or prior 86 or a type r. steering isn't as good as alot of cars and somewhat dead. it doesn't sound good to pull to redline (haven't tried EL exhaust). but it looks great and is still breathtakingly fast when you do open it up

My ZL1 1LE and GT350s were much more fun to drive and quite a bit cheaper brand new than any of my F8X M3/4s I had except maybe the CS. My wife's C63S was also much more fun to drive on the street and that was priced similarly.

All my own opinion of course.

Yo!

No, I am not bored...yet. But I am not sure I will with this car.

The F80 is just gorgeous to me. I turn to look at it about 100 times more than any other car I have owned. Sure, driving it around is painful as a DD sometimes. But, like I am alluding to, it isn't the most important part of this car to me. It is the experience of owning one, and the driving experience. Which so far, I have found to be very unique and exciting.

The next up on the "attainable" dream cars list is a Porsche 911. Until then, I plan to continue to be not bored with my M3...

If I could have only one car for the rest of my life and nothing else in the garage - just one car for every day and every errand - F80M3 hands down.

With sear sucker bike and ski rack of course

I only bought my m3 two months ago, so I am still in the honeymoon phase. I have owned a lot of different cars (everything from a VW GTI, S3/4, 911). While i loved many of them for different reasons, none of them does everything as well as the m3. As a new dad with no extra parking space, it was important to me to have a single car that met all my needs. The m3 comfortably fits a rear facing car seat, holds a massive stroller, looks the business, and is a blast to drive on the road or track. So far, I am extremely happy and see myself enjoying it for a long time to come.

After 2 F80's yes I think there are moments where I want something new, but then I just hop in the car again and it brings a smile to my face. It's going to be hard to let this one go, but let it go I must.

I got bored of my F82 after 2-3 years. Sold it for a GR Supra thinking it would give me more thrills.

While I do love the car and enjoy driving it, I'm realizing that not having a 6mt car is what I'm missing most.
