ISTA+ ABS Bleed - Do I Need Battery Charger?
Hi guys,
I'm wondering if I need a voltage regulator when I perform ABS bleed procedure through ISTA+. Or can I just just charge the battery to 100% before starting the procedure? I've heard that ISTA+ can exit procedure if there is sudden drop in voltage or something..... Thank you! |

I've done it with a trickle charger, worked fine.

I recently had brakes changed and new fluid with braided lines but pedal feels spongy
I don’t think they bothered with this procedure Woudl this procedure help ensure any air from the system is gone? |

Definitely sounds like air is in the system. Could’ve been a poor brake bleed with air in calipers/brake lines and/or air in DCS/ABS lines.
