Reduced AC air flow (SIB 64 06 13)?

Recently, during a long-ish road trip, I had the AC going but the blower eventually stopped working. A tiny amount of cold air trickled out of the vents. Several hours later, the AC worked fine again.

I believe that I may need the fix described in SIB 64 06 13 (https://www.tsbsearch.com/BMW/SI-B64-06-13). Wondering if any of you has had this done, and if so, whether it made any difference. Thanks.

I should have also asked whether you had the physical correction made, the coding change or both. It may depend on the car's manufacture date.

Update on this. kubax86 just implemented the coding solution in the TSB for post-October 1, 2013 vehicles. Took 5 minutes. I highly recommend kubax86 to make this fix rather than going to the dealer.
