Anyone tried a throttle booster?

Wondering if anyone has experience with these and your thoughts. I’m looking for safe ways to increase performance (looking at a throttle booster or maybe a gts tune) that won’t compromise the crank hub as I am not looking to upgrade that.

I understand that a throttle booster will not actually add power, but rather make acceleration more linear. But this seems like it will make the car feel faster nonetheless.

If you get the OTS maps with Bootmod3, even if you just bump up to the CS or GTS power, you can adjust the throttle sensitivity in the customization settings.

I’ve got the Racechip unit installed and it gives more settings to map above the standard BMW ones. Personally think it’s not bad and allows fine tuning.

Crankhub will be fine unless you push the car hard on a stage 2 or 2+ tune/ if you kickdown when you downshift, or downshift from higher rpms often.

Don’t add a throttle booster. It’s good for lower level cars with desensitized throttle, but for M cars, just put it in sport plus. A throttle booster will make the car unbearably jerky.

Flash the GTS map, GTS DCT and CS EDC for the best refinement.
